Customer first
Starting close to the customer taught me to look beyond what people say and understand what they actually experience.
ABOUT
My route into marketing wasn't the conventional one.
I started on the frontline, working directly with customers and seeing first-hand how the decisions a business makes translate into real experiences.
From there, my career took me through operational leadership, business development and national sales before moving into marketing. Each step gave me a different view of the same challenge: how do you create something that works for the customer and delivers for the business?
That perspective has stayed with me.
Today, I bring those different worlds together across customer strategy, integrated marketing and commercial growth. I'm at my best when the challenge is complex, the answer isn't obvious, and different perspectives need bringing together.

NOT THE CONVENTIONAL ROUTE
Closer to the customer.
Understanding how the business works.
Finding and creating growth opportunities.
Leading teams and driving performance.
Bringing it all together to create customer value and commercial impact.
I didn't build my understanding of customers from a dashboard alone. I started by serving them.
I didn't learn commercial thinking only through marketing budgets. I spent years responsible for sales, growth and performance.
And I didn't learn leadership from a textbook. I learned it by leading teams, navigating change and bringing people together around a shared goal.
That journey still influences how I approach marketing today.
HOW THAT SHAPED MY APPROACH
Starting close to the customer taught me to look beyond what people say and understand what they actually experience.
My background in business development and sales means I'm naturally interested in what marketing ultimately changes for the business, not simply what it produces.
Some of the work I'm proudest of has involved different teams, priorities and perspectives. I enjoy creating clarity, finding common ground and turning a good idea into something people can actually deliver.
BEYOND THE JOB TITLE
I grew up in Venezuela, have Portuguese roots and built my career in the UK. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, and moving between different cultures has made curiosity about people and different perspectives a natural part of who I am.
Caracas, Madeira and Cádiz are places I keep coming back to, not simply because I enjoy travelling, but because they're connected to family, friends and different parts of my life.
I'm naturally curious about what's changing around us too. Technology, investing, digital culture and how people connect all tend to send me down rabbit holes. I enjoy meeting new people and exchanging ideas, which is probably why networking has become something I genuinely enjoy rather than something I feel I should be doing.
And given the choice between seeing somewhere new and finding somewhere good to eat when I get there, I'll happily make time for both.

Different places. A richer perspective.
THE WORK BEHIND THE PERSPECTIVE
